Job Title: Executive Director

Pregnancy Choices is seeking an experienced, articulate and personable individual to serve as Executive Director.  Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director (ED) is the key leader of the Center and responsible for the Center’s consistent achievement of its mission and objectives.  The ED’s primary responsibilities of administration and management, marketing and community relations, and donor and grant management include:

Administration and Management:

  • Assist in developing annual budget and oversee revenue and expenses to ensure alignment and maximum resource utilization
  • Supervise and collaborate with staff including the hiring and retention of competent, qualified personnel
  • Oversee and implement as necessary the appropriate resources needed for the successful operation of the Center
  • Develop and interface with the volunteer base
  • Provide timely and accurate reports and information necessary for the Board to function effectively and make informed decisions

Marketing and Community Relations:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key contacts within the community
  • Generally develop and oversee marketing efforts
  • Be available for public speaking engagements
  • Coordinate publication of Center’s newsletter

Donor and Grant Management:

  • Coordinate grant acquisition and reporting:
    •   Identify and search for grant opportunities
    • Coordinate drafting and submission of applications
    • Maintain relationships and ensure timely reporting
  • Design and implement events to cultivate, retain and educate donors
    • Oversee maintenance of donor database
    •  Participate in Center’s annual fundraising event
  • Actively participate in fundraising efforts to garner the resources needed to support the Center’s mission


  • 2 or more years of experience with a nonprofit organization or equivalent project management experience
  • General knowledge of fundraising, community relations, finances and employee relations preferred
  • Knowledge of fundraising strategies and donor relations unique to nonprofit sector
  • Strong public speaking and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee and collaborate with staff
  • Effective marketing, public relations and fundraising experience with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders

Job Title: Nurse Manager (Sonography Experience)

Regular, non-exempt, part-time position (typically, 20-25 hours per week).

Under the general supervision of the Medical Director and in cooperation and coordination with the Executive Director, the Nurse Manager oversees all aspects of the medical services at SouthWest Options for Women (SWOW); performs direct and indirect nursing interventions; and serves as a Client Advocate (including lay counseling and pregnancy and STI testing, when requested by client). The Nurse Manager will maintain a respectful, helpful, working relationship with all SWOW staff and volunteers and will help fulfill the mission of SWOW by utilizing the most current factually accurate information and striving always to become more proficient in each of our service areas.

Oak Park Heights – Options for Women | St. Croix Valley

Job Title: Executive Director

Options for Women St. Croix Valley is a non-profit organization that was formed over 30 years ago to help women and their families choose life for the unborn. The mission of OFWSCV is “to strengthen the lives of individuals and families by providing health, educational and supportive programs that promote life, foster human dignity and build community.” OFWSCV’s current programs include, among other things, free onsite prenatal care, client advocacy, and material assistance.

OFWSCV is currently seeking applications for the role of Executive Director. The Executive Director is responsible, among other things, for the operations, governance, finances, marketing and fundraising at the center.
